Nuance Communications has unveiled their latest version of their voice dictation software for PC, NatuallySpeaking 12, and with it comes a slew of new features and tighter integration with web apps. According to their press release, version 12 of their software is 20% more accurate than version 11 and it has been built to support multicore processors, making it turn speech into text even faster than before. NaturallySpeaking 12 also features Bluetooth wideband support which allows users to just plug in their USB Bluetooth wideband receiver and skip the voice training. The voice-recognition software includes tighter GMail and Hotmail support allowing users to dictate emails directly in their browsers and there will also be an Android app that turns their phone into a wireless microphone.
NaturallySpeaking 12 is available for pre-order right now and will be released as a download on August 3rd or as a boxed set on August 13th, for $99.
